How to play online lotto

Mega Millions is an American Lotto that is played in most states and started out in 1996. The game is as easy as it gets and is very lucrative. The game has accumulated huge jackpots and has given out the largest prizes in world history. Naysayers always repeat the same words, they say the probabilities of winning are close to impossible, but how can you win if you don’t buy a ticket in the first place?

The USA Mega Millions is one the mostpopular lotteries, but you don’t have to be a US citizen to play. You can give this lotto a shot through an online lotto if you are in a foreign country, but in the US you can buy them almost anywhere, like in pharmacies, gas stations, and supermarkets. Any person over 18 years old can play and you don’t have to be a resident of the state where they sell the tickets to play. You don’t even have to be a US citizen to play Mega Millions.

But if you are a foreigner (not a US citizen) and you win a large prize, the IRS will deduct 30% over your winnings. Other set of rules and laws apply for local winners. If you happen to be a tourist visiting the USA, you won’t find Mega Millions tickets in Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada,  Utah, Wyoming, Alabama, and Mississippi, in these states lotteries are prohibited by law, but that does not mean that their citizens can’t cross to another state to buy a ticket. You can buy a ticket in 44 states, except the ones we mentioned before.

You have one hour until the start of the draw to buy your tickets, you won’t be able to participate once that deadline has passed. But you can always buy a ticket for the next draw, and if nobody hits the jackpot the prizes will accumulate until somebody wins it all. The minimum jackpot for Mega Millions is fifteen million dollars.

The format Mega Millions uses for its draws is 5/75 for the white balls and 1/15 for the special ball, called Mega Ball. This setting was introduced late in the year 2013 and has been functioning since. If you buy a ticket you can expect the draw on Tuesdays and Fridays, those are days you can be rich with the right combinations. Starting on October of 2017, the cost per play will rise from one to two dollars.
